Women in Business was originally conceived as a national networking group of women running their own businesses. Since the first enthusiastic meeting, the organisation quickly established itself in key areas as an authoritative voice on matters that affect women.

The steadily increasing membership encompasses a diverse range of business interests and the group also attracts many women who are returning to the workplace or considering setting up their own businesses.

The Medway and North Kent group has an excellent mix, some working from home; employing others; holding management positions in local companies; employed in the public sector and in large multi-nationals.
